What to include
Including these helps us triage quickly and make the first appointment as useful as possible.
Gynaecological oncology
- Reason for referral and symptoms
- Imaging reports, such as pelvic ultrasound or CT
- Tumour markers, such as CA-125, if done
- Histology or cytology reports
- Relevant medical, surgical and family history
- Current medicines and allergies
Paediatric rheumatology
- Reason for referral, symptom duration and functional limitation
- Recent bloods, such as FBC, ESR and CRP, if done
- Imaging reports, if applicable
- Current medications
- Parent or guardian contact details and relevant custody orders
Urgent referrals
Mark the referral as urgent and call us on 07 3102 4068 so we can arrange a priority appointment.
For acutely unwell patients, please refer to the nearest emergency department.
